Follow-Up Care

Starting

An intervention is designed to start a person on a new path.
Interventions are one-time bursts of energy and information. A workshop, for example.

Staying

Maintenance and follow-up care offer the structures necessary to stay on the new path.
A wider network of practices are required for staying on track over time.

Maintaining

A one-time workshop/intervention that establishes wellness knowledge is not enough to maintain longer-term wellness habits. Unless an organization invests resources in maintenance and follow-up care, wellness practices fall away.

Contract with Mindful Boston for mindfulness maintenance and the follow-up supports necessary to stick with wellness practices. The studio offers peer check-in calls, newsletters, recorded audios, and coaching sessions.

Mindful Boston has been building the infrastructure of sustained practice since 2009.
