Intervention VS Maintenance

Intervention VS Maintenance

Starting

An intervention is designed to start a person on a new path.
Interventions are one-time bursts of energy and information. A workshop, for example.

Staying

Maintenance and follow-up care offer the structures necessary to stay on the new path.
A wider network of practices are required for staying on track over time.

Maintaining

Unless there is an investment in maintenance and follow-up care, wellness practices fall away.

A one-time workshop/intervention that establishes wellness knowledge is not enough to maintain longer-term wellness habits.

The Mindful Boston studio offers peer check-in calls, newsletters, recorded audios, and coaching sessions. Enroll in studio programs for mindfulness maintenance, and the follow-up supports necessary to stick with wellness practices.
